Vegan Supply

For those of you who don’t already know, Vegan Supply has been Canada’s one stop online shopping for everything vegan since 2015. It has an online presence at VeganSupply.ca and new this year a brick and mortar store in Vancouver’s Chinatown (June 2017). The product selection is both extensive and diverse as products are sourced from all over North America and the world. The great thing for Canadian residents is that they will ship coast to coast using Canada Post and UPS expedited parcel services. If you live in another part of the world you won’t be left out in the cold since they will also gladly ship outside of Canada. For those of us lucky enough to live in close proximity to Vancouver, the retail store is easily accessible by car or transit and is located at 250 E Pender St. (Between Gore and Main).

Health Expo

Meagan and I knew very little about Vegan Supply when we visited their booth at one of the Health Expos we attended earlier this year. I could tell however from the excitement and the long lineups that they already had a very strong and healthy base of loyal customers. Not really surprising considering the awesome products being sampled and sold at the show. From vegan cheeses to snack items, attendees were simply going crazy for the myriad of items on display. They announced at the show the upcoming grand opening of their retail store and we promised ourselves we would visit the minute their doors would open.

Retail Location

The store is tucked away in the heart of Vancouver’s Chinatown and is quite possibly North America’s biggest all vegan shop. We went one afternoon, kids in tow and we weren’t disappointed; Though they specialize in grocery items and personal care products they also sell vegan apparel, stickers, buttons and decals. While I enjoy the convenience of being able to place online orders, there is nothing quite like browsing the aisle of Vegan Supply while striking conversations with the staff and like minded individuals.

Pillar of the Vegan Community

I would wholeheartedly recommend you take the time to visit their new shop and online store to find out about the new expanded list of vegan items now being offered. Thanks to Vegan Supply it is now much easier to access and purchase vegan items that were impossible to find locally in the past.
